Half the man, twice the lawyer - Grisham's first Young Adult Novel In the small city of Strattenburg, there are many lawyers, and though he's only thirteen years old, Theo Boone thinks he's one of them. Theo knows every judge, policeman, court clerk - and a lot about the law. He dreams of being a great trial lawyer, of a life in the courtroom. But Theo finds himself in court much sooner than he expected. Because he knows so much - maybe too much - he is suddenly dragged into the middle of a sensational murder trial. A cold-blooded killer is about to go free, and only Theo knows the truth. The stakes are high, but Theo won't stop until justice is served. Brimming with the intrigue and suspense that made John Grisham a number one international bestseller and the undisputed master of the legal thriller, Theodore Boone will keep readers guessing and pages turning.

A book written for a younger audience, but still a great read which I could not put down. Fast paced, easy to follow and we'll written. A short book, which introduces Grishams new character, and delivers a great read at the same time.

Not one of his best books but the audience this is aimed at is different to the norm. A fan of Grisham this is a must read and just accept this isn't meant to be as good as some of this earlier works.

The best book I've read in a while

Theodore Boone is a believable character whose striving to learn everything he can about the law. A big case is going on in a small town. Meantime, Theodore is giving legal advice to his school mates and teachers. The storyline offers a snap shot of the differing cultures and classes in Theodor's neighborhood. When I had finished the book I wanted to pick up its sequel and read on, will there be a part two I wonder ?

 Unputtdownable

Don't be fooled by the uninviting cover of this book, they say you can't judge a book by it's cover and it's 100% right with this book!! From the moment I picked up this book I couldn't put it down - a gripping read which captures the minds of all readers young and old.
The only problem with this book is you read the final page you turn over expecting another 4 or 5 chapters but it just ends!
5/5 Highly Recommmend
