Enjoyable but disjointed, 5 lives all going on around the each other told well. However, at some times hard to follow exactly what is going on. Faulks writes well and I felt engaged with the characters and could identify with a part of all of them, I was though dissapointed by a real lack of ending- it does finish well, it just seems all very sudden out of nowhere sadly. Enjoyed but not enough to warrant a second read.
