Top 100 Books Reviewer

I have liked both of Kate's previous books, and this is no exception!. Her style of writing is mesmerising, I find. She has a brilliant way of story-telling (which reminds me of books written a long time ago).

As with all of Kate's books the story dips between different time zones (the present day, and further back) to unravel the mystery of what happened to the three sister's Blythe, the meaning behind "The book " their father wrote, and Edie's Mum (Meredith) who stayed with them during the war, not to metion what happened to "Thomas Cavill". Everything is revealed and wrapped up extremely well by the end, and all questions are answered.

This is a beautiful book, and I can't recommend it highly enough, it is a little large, but I loved it and couldn't put it down (perfect for anytime,.. long dark nights,.. lazy sunny afternoons, just a really really good old fashioned mystery!!

 A Bewitching Tale - Superb

My son bought me this book for my birthday and it was the best present I could have been given - a simply superb book, I found it difficult to put down but was also sad to finish it. This book has joined the select few of my lifetime favourites.
