I finished this book under 2 days I was that gripped! It kept wanting you to read more and more. I loved how it made you suspect people all the way throughout that drops bombshells after bombshells. Defo worth the buy

  BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN

It is not everyday that a book as beautifully written as this comes along. I read this in no time. Deeply thought provoking and truly emotional. It made me think about things i did with my little sister when we were little and I asked myself if I would cross the same boundaries as Beatrice did for Tess. Truly outstanding and absorbing. Looking forward now to reading Afterwards. Recommended.

I don't normally read this kind of book, but it was a present from my SISTER, and boy did I enjoy, will definately read more thrillers!

  Disappointing

I ordered this book after reading all the great reviews on Play.com and was looking forward to reading it. Didn't like the book from the start and found the main character quite annoying! I kept going regardless waiting to get to this great twist at the end. However, I thought the end of the book was very rushed and the "great twist" was a complete anti-climax for me.

Cliched and turgid, didn't enjoy 'Sister' very much at all, not even for a summer read. Wasted my money. Daphne du Maurier it definitely wasn't.

i don't really want to be critical, because i enjoyed the book so much, but the main character 'talks' how about how much she is changing through the course of the story, but you don't see any evidence of it before and then find it hard to believe.
i love crime thrillers, and actually this may be the best twist in a story i've read in ages! although you wonder, without the last minute twist... how much would i like the story? i would recommend it though, some of the themes are very interesting! x
