So glad I bought this book.

I was not sure if I should buy this book or not as I have always been of the opinion "its their own fault she was taken" and "they are bad bad parents" but I decided to buy it. I have for a long time thought they did it, but after reading this, there is not a doubt in my mind now that they didnt. The book is so sad, and the money goes to help find Maddie, so please buy it. Its a good book, heartbreaking and informative and really makes you realise what these people have been through.

  A must read

Whilst my first feelings at the time of Madeleines disappearance was that it was their own fault for leaving the children alone, no parent deserves to go through what they have gone through. The handling of the case by the Portugese police at the outset was shameful, and the ongoing torment not only that their daughter is still missing, but they seem to have no assistance from the Police is unbelievable. All the way through the book you know that there is no happy ending - currently. This book is a must and will certainly clarify why the fund is needed to find Madeleine.

I was very apprehensive to even buy this but I am so glad I did. It has geven me an insight into what the McCann's have really gone through and what the Portoguese and English police failed to do to help fing this lovely little girl.

It gives you an insight into what really happened and what was NOT publised in the press.

I understand that Maddie should not have been left alone however Kate does not deserve the way she has been, and still is being treated.

She has fought so hard and the book tells the story of her ongoing fight and how they have now run out of funds. It broke my heart to read this but I was gripped and it tells the story from the start.

There are things I have learn't and I am amazed of the little help she has now.

She/they are so strong and I just hope and pray she is found.

Please buy as some of the proceeds will go to the fund. A very interesting and compelling read,

Dont review this book if you haven't read it....Worth buying and reading. Heartfelt and very sad just how much the mcCann family were desperately let down by the portugese police in their search for madeleine, some witnesses haven't been questioned even now. Lots of detail you just would not know unless you read it. Only good can come from the sale of this book to help children all over the world to keep them safe. Im so glad i read it. I hope the mcCann family one day will find their precious daughter.

I shall definitely be buying this book but am waiting for it to come out in paperback. don't read hardback books as i have arthritis in my wrists and they are too heavy to hold. I've given this book maximum rating as I know I'm going to love it and find it very emotional. keep going Kate and Gerry, wish you all well.

I am surprised this book has had no reviews yet or indeed that it seems nobody has bought this book! This is a very important book, and a very interesting, well written book- this is not antidotes or people's "i think this i think that", it's written as a true story about the true pain of a real family- every page has the pain and tears of Kate McCann and her husband written all over it in their search for their missing daughter! You may THINK you know the story- but you don't know half of it- this book reveals SO much in it, beyond the lies and scandal of the papers, beyond all of that, there is somethign deeper in this book.
A truly amazing story, at times, hard to read because of the pain of the McCann family, this book tells of the failure of the police in Portugal and in England, the threats Kate recieves everyday and more- I don't want to spoil this book for you, just buy your copy now- a very worthwhile and heartfelt book! ALL book lovers should read this book and own it- if nothing more than to find out the truth, this is worthy of everyone's book shelf!
