If you are going to read this book, read it over Christmas. By the time it was time to start opening the little doors on my advent calendar I couldn't wait to read it in the dark, chilly evenings after work, usually with a mug of hot chocolate sat in front of the fire - was genuinely sad to finish it.

  An Enjoyable Read

I quite enjoyed having met the protagonist of this predictable but yet interesting miracle. The plot has a very subtle twist of the fairy tale presumption that the frog that turns into a handsome prince.

Very realistic and actual in terms of characters, representing very well modern society nowadays, with an eclectic mix of nationalities.
I loved the Wardrobe! I think that is the secret desire of almost every woman, with some magical power to transform into a different persona depending on the social settings.

The Vintage fashion is relatively in vogue, making the reader not only interested in the plot but also on the actual detailed description of every outfit.

The storyline is reminiscent of opening windows on an Advent Calendar, with a different makeover being revealed each day in various departments in the store, culminating with the final reveal of Christmasish Evie

  Easy Read

Predictable easy read book. Nice story, but no excitement as you could guess what was going to happen throughout the book. If you want a book to read that is light and fun then this is the book to pick.

I needed to get into the festive spirit...And this did it!

Having just read a book under the same genre, I felt like reading another similar story, but trying to find a different theme was a hard decision to make.... Queue Miracle on Regent Street. The cover sold it for me to start with, I am always that firl who plucks the prettiest book from the shelf (Cringe!)... and being the usual scrooge/humbug that I usually am at the end of November, I felt the need to get into the festive spirit so as not to be angry at everyone else for being so hehe.... This book is fabulous.... the story is really nice, it flows and it does have a couple of little surprises along the way. I didn't want it to end once I got stuck in... Definately one for this time of year, I highly reccomend it.

  A lovely warm book

I had read a few books of this genre recently when I read this one, and was feeling a bit tired of the genre, but I found this book to be a really interesting read. The plot did follow the standard formula for this sort of book, but there were some twists, and I found the initial concept to be interesting enough to make it a really good read. It put me in a very Christmassy mood, definitely one for the Xmas holidays! :o)

Enjoyed this, it's a book with no real suprises and does exactly whay you would expect of it, but in a warm and engaging manner. Even made me feel Christmassy in November.

It's how shopping ought to be.

Although I struggled to really get into this book, and then never really felt hooked, I still enjoyed it. It was a nice warmhearted story and perfect for reading int he run up to Christmas. All very predictable, but still a nice read.

  Entertaining festive read

This isn't my normal type of book, but fans of this genre probably know what to expect. Evie, (our protagonist) has characteristics we can all identify with on some level, which makes her instantly likeable. The other characters are all generic enough to resemble someone you know. The story itself is fairly predictable, but then I don't think the author set out to write anything original and stays true to the genre. It is well written and amusing in places, and it managed to hold my attention to the end. To be honest, I don't think I'd recommend this to anyone other than chick-lit fans.

A warming gentle plot, a perfect read for either those lazy days in the sun, or curled up in the warm on a dark cold evening.

I'm not a typical reader of this genre of book, but decided to give it a try anyway and was pleasantly surprised. The plot was fairly predictable with no big plot twists or surprises. but I still enjoyed the concept and the characters and found it to be a gentle read and great for getting into the Christmas mood.
