Introducing Guitar For The Young Beginner is a an excellent book which has been designed especially to introduce the younger student to the basics of guitar playing and reading music. To maximise the students' enjoyment and interest, this book incorporates an extensive repertoire of children's songs. The book is presented in a very easy-to-follow, lesson-by-lesson format, which assumes no prior knowledge of music by the guitar student. The accompanying CD contains all the songs featured in this book, allowing you to hear how they should be played. Each song is recorded twice, firstly with the solo part and accompaniment and secondly with just the accompaniment, giving you the opportunity to play along yourself, with or without the recorded solo part.
