Picking up right where his New York Times bestseller A Lion's Tale left off, with his legendary 1999 entrance into the WWE, Jericho takes us from Chicago to Tokyo, New Delhi to Kuala Lumpur, Winnipeg to Madison Square Garden, as he details his classic rivalries with the Rock, Steve Austin, HHH, Shawn Michaels, and John Cena, along with all the politics and backstage machinations he faced outside the ring. He also describes his unique relationship with Vince McMahon and the long road they travelled to find respect for each other. But it was only after Jericho became the first Undisputed World Champion in the history of the wrestling business that he became disenchanted with the WWE and decided to walk away, turning his back on fifteen years in the ring to further his other lifelong dream: that of being a rock star. His band, Fozzy, proceeded to tour the world playing everywhere from the smallest sports bars in Pennsylvania to Monsters of Rock at Castle Donnington festival in England, all the while experiencing the same kinds of glorifying highs and embarrassing lows he faced while building his wrestling career. As if that weren't enough, Chris recounts his hilarious escapades of breaking in with the Hollywood elite via doomed auditions, short-lived reality shows, made-for-television movies, and red-carpet interviewing fiascos. Along the way he was forced to deal with the heart-wrenching deaths of his mother and his long-time confidant Eddy Guerrero, as well as the horrific murder/suicide of his best friend Chris Benoit and his family. Jam packed with Chris Jericho's trademark self-effacing humor, one-of-a-kind writing style, and ridiculous random encounters with everyone from Arnold Schwarzenegger, Axl Rose, and Paul McCartney, UNDISPUTED is one of the most highly anticipated follow-ups of its kind and one of a rare breed - a sequel that might be better than the original.

Don't You Wish You Were This Good A Writer, Mick?

Now I'm not a massive Chris Jericho fan, but I bought this book since A Lion's Tale (which I also purchased) got such rave reviews and this one was garnering some pretty big hype. I knew the man had great ring skills and amazing mic skills and is an exceptionally gifted musician, but I never pictured Jericho being as good as writer as this.

We all know Mick Foley has been called the "god of wrestling autobiographies" since he releases one just about every 3 year, but to be honest his first book didn't impress me nor did his 2nd (however I enjoyed the Hardcore Diaries). I recently read Bret Hart's Hitman and decided to give Jericho's book a go, I wasn't left disatisfied.

Jericho has a very unique style of writing and is often comical, his stories are well put together and I enjoy every bit of them, he's funny, smart, charismatic and most of all a terrific storyteller. You'll find that Jericho loves to plug his own material, his 5-0 win streak over Mick Foley and feels the need to replace the word "cool" with "froot" and add "ski" to the end of every other word. The book is one of a kind and is easily one of the top wrestling autobiographies of all time.

Whatever the price, it's a good book, if you like reading buy this, in one word: incredible.

Not as good as lions tale

the book is good. its worth reading if you have any interest in wwe or Fozzy. i found that he doubted himself a lot more than he did in lions tale. Undisputed has some brilliant stories in it but it has the direct comparison to lions tale and just doesnt make the same grade. worth a read tho.

 couldn't put it down

After reading a Lion's Tale and LOVING IT, I had to get this.

I'm not a big book fan, just a Y2J fan, and I have to say, I blasted through this book. It was such a great read, funny, emotional, sincere, and if you're a wrestling fan who knows the Attitude Era of WWE then there's some great nostalgia in there too.

Definitely for any wrestling fan. Can't wait for the 3rd book in a couple of years.
