Think you don't know Vic Armstrong? Wrong! You've seen his work in countless films. He's been stunt double for James Bond, Indiana Jones and Superman, and he's directed action scenes for 3 Bond movies, "Mission Impossible 3", "I Am Legend" and the upcoming "Thor", to name but a few. This is a memoir of Vic Armstrong.

I dont know if there has been an autobiography for a stuntman before, but if this is the first one, then its set the standard.
This is a FANTASTIC read, the fascinating inside look it allows you of how stunts are planned and executed is both detailed and entertaining.
Vic clearly illustrates the inherent risk that is part of his job and also reveals some of the ingeneous solutions he and his colleagues have pioneered over the years to create the thrills and spills that we've enjoyed so much.
The anecdotes are hilarious, i've had to read somethings twice because you just cant belive some of the things people have said and the insane things Directors have asked for. The search for Harrison Ford's house was a belter.
If your are curious about stuntwork, into movies at all or just enjoy a good laugh, i couldnt recommend a better read 10/10

This is a fantastic book full of great anecdotes and life and career experiences by the legendary stuntman and second unit action director Vic Armstrong. Some of the tales revealed are absolutely incredible-you couldn't make them up, and Armstrong's writing style is straightforward and very amiable. The book is also packed with 900 terrific rare photos from is work on the Bond, Superman and Indiana Jones films. A legend!
