this man is a genius..haven't laughed so much in decades..in fact ever! watched the series, this just made me giggle more as i could see & feel his 'anguish'. On hols at time whilst reading and I was secretley hoping for the man himself to pop out of the planes loo armed with monster munch. Read this book! I am now officially a fan...off to buy all of his books thanks to more brill reviews

If you liked the television series, you'll love the book! Karl is a no nonsense, tell it as it is kind of guy! This book is a laugh from beginning to end! I couldn't put it down. Every time I went to stop I had to read the next chapter! Hilarious and witty! Karl is a legend!

It's no doubt a good read and hilarious in places but your enjoyment will ultimately depend on how far you are into the TV series. Reading extracts from the episodes you have already seen spoils the book somewhat but it's still a good laugh.
