This book is extemely comprehensive and covers pretty much all aspects of acoustic guitar playing. It has theory but not in a boring way like many books can be. It comes with 2 CD's which allow you to listen to the pieces that you are asked to practise. However, this book is not for begginners and you will need to have more than a basic understanding of guitar to get the best from the material. Eric Roche was a fantastic guitar player and if you want to hear him play, i would suggest the CD 'WITH THESE HANDS'. This book is en essential guide if you love acoustic guitar playing.
