Agatha Christie's world-famous mystery thriller, reissued with a striking new cover designed to appeal to the latest generation of Agatha Christie fans and book lovers. Ten strangers, apparently with little in common, are lured to an island mansion off the coast of Devon by the mysterious U.N.Owen. Over dinner, a record begins to play, and the voice of an unseen host accuses each person of hiding a guilty secret. That evening, former reckless driver Tony Marston is found murdered by a deadly dose of cyanide. The tension escalates as the survivors realise the killer is not only among them but is preparing to strike again...and again...

I usually read Stephen King but Agatha Christie's novels are a fresh break from horror themes.

Christie deals with suspense and mystery and it delivers them slowly but with an effective way. In fact they're so effective that the ending twists are always jaw-dropping.

This novel is what one can call 'the masterpiece of a genius'. The characters are believable. The deaths are realistic. Then comes the final twist...which is accurate and carries a deadly blow if you passed your time guessing who was the killer. The misleading factor works perfectly here as it does with all her novels.

I highly recommend anyone to buy this piece of art.

 Stunning Crime Whodunnit!

Wow! this was a book that I found difficult to put down after I started.

The plot revolves around 10 strangers all receiving a mysterious invitation to a remote island mansion. Gradually they begin to die - one by one. The tension mounts as the numbers get smaller and the identity of the killer, who it seems is among them, remains unknown - right up until the end.

The story leaves you having to keep changing your ideas of 'whodunnit' until towards the end when all is revealed.

The ending for me was quite a shock and is a testament to the incredible writing and storytelling talent of Agatha Christie. Very much recommended!
