This story uncovers suburbia's darkest secrets - mostly in The Flying Swan, a cosmic Rovers Return where Neville the barman and Archroy, owner of five magic beans, do battle with beasts of the occult and in particular the rather unpleasant Pope Alexander VI, the last of the Borgias.

This was the second Robert Rankin book that I have read, the first being The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse. I was expecting weird, but it was very funny as well. I can't wait to read the next one in the series. I would definitely recommend this to any one who likes Douglas Adams.
