John Meron receives a phone call that will change his life for ever: his friend Jack Calley is screaming down the phone for help. As he listens, Calley is murdered. His last words, spoken to his killer, are the first two lines of Meron's address. Within minutes, a car pulls up outside, and three men get out. He's being hunted and has no idea why.

 Relentlessly readable...

Sometimes it's nice just to settle back with a fast and furious, aciton-packed, tense thriller. 'Relentless' fits the bill. It doesn't pause for breath from page one, the plot twisting and turning and the story peppered with enough set pieces to make a Bruce Willis movie blush. Highly-recommended throwaway Summer reading.

Not a big reader to be honest, but I saw this book advertised at the train station and it caught my eye!

Loved it from start to finish, I read it over a two week period only because I read it late at night and kept falling asleep.

It has got me interested in reading again, and I will definitely buy more of Kernick's books!

 Relentless - Brilliant!

What a fast action book. All set in 48 hours and what a lot they packed in. Couldn't put it down - had to - but didn't want to. I read it in 36 hours and then wanted to start it again. Not a great literary classic but perfect summer reading if you don't want a girlie novel. Will certainly keep my eye out for more of this author's books. So many twists and turns. Highly recommended.
