This slipcase, hardback, deluxe edition is pretty much what it sets out to be: a collectors edition that is a luxury to have on a shelf but good enough to allow you to read it without damaging the book. Sure it's not a very rich edition, you don't have leather covers of letters in gold, but you have golden letters and a very nice, soft yet not slippery cover. The entire work is very tasteful and, if you're a person who loves books and to whom they are more than just the story in them, then this is the Edition of "A Game of Thrones" I would recommend you to buy. It's definitely worth the price.
