Having always had a soft spot for dutch football I found this being one of the only books on the subject i could find, It's a multi-faceted look at the history and origins of dutch football. Incredibly insightful and very interesting. Well written, easy to read and well tohught out. Will definitely be giving it a second read.
A thoughtful and insightful book, with a fascinating central thesis.
A really amazing book with a well constructed central idea. A must read for the fans of dutch football of the '70s.
