The story in this terriffic book revolves around the the experiences of Karim,a 17 year old half Indian half white boy growing up in Suburbia London.Hanif proves what a great writer he is

A great coming of age story that has everything its funny, sad and thought provoking. Shows life in middle class 1970s London in a way no other book can. I recommend this to anyone its one I will be picking up and reading again and again. An absolute bargain at this price.
