On a Chicago street in bright sunshine, Jack Reacher, is strolling nowhere and sees an attractive young woman, struggling on crutches. Naturally, he stops to offer her a steadying arm. And then he turns around to see a handgun aimed straight at his stomach. Locked in a dark, stifling van racing across America, chained to the woman, Reacher needs to know why he's there. The kidnappers are saying nothing. The woman claims to be an FBI agent. She's tough enough to be one. But at their remote destination, will raw courage and cunning be enough to overcome the hopeless odds? Full of non-stop action and gritty suspense, "Die Trying" is a tightly plotted thriller starring one of the most exciting action heroes in today's fiction, the redoubtable, romantic, footloose former army cop, Jack Reacher.

Lee's second book,i found this a little slow at first, quite a lot going on to start, but once you get through the first 3/4 chapters, you wont put it down!!! i love reacher in this book!! all i can say about this adventure is, if you buy it,I hope your not clostiphobic..:-)

Good, but not as good as the others!

This is the second in a long, and increasing series of books about Jack Reacher. although I found this story original and intersting I think it moves a little slower than the others in the series. It does end very well and has a twist or two along the way. As with the others in the series there are moments of hightened tension, and if you're in the middle of one of these chapters, you'll just have to read on.

Twist and turns right the way through, picks up pace at the right times and keeps you guessing along the way, if you like thrillers you'll love this and if you've never tried them this is a good place to start.

 Pretty awesome

I like to keep reviews short and sweet.
I haven't read the books in any particular order, but this was the 7th I read. It's pretty awesome, only downside, bit of just unnecessary-filler here and there.
Still, like all the Reacher novels, it's a must-read for anyone. Just don't start here, try Worth Dying For first, or Persuader!

 meh...slightly tedious

okay...dont get me wrong, Lee Child is a superb writer, and is one of my faves, ever since i read the hard way (got it for a chrimbo or summat) but this one is definitely my least favourite out of the 3 i own (hard way, die trying, persuader) as it mostly takes place in the back of a truck! lol!

its a good book, but there are better Reacher ones! the persuader is an immense book! only four stars from me im afraid!
