Martina Cole is the best author by far. I have read all but 1 of her books and each and every one grips you from the first page. All her books are a must and if you have not read one, then you are really missing out. I just hope she keeps writing otherwise I don't know what I will do when I run out of her books!!!

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Gritty

I love Martina Cole - she writes brilliant books - always gritty and close to the bone - this was the first one of hers I ever read and a great one to start on too - story of a murder that a woman has gone down for and done her time and how when she is released she struggles to get her life back in order - she also wants revenge!! you'll love the characters - all a bit rough - but really well written about. read this book - its fast paced and you won't put it down!

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Read With Caution.

Another fantastic book from Martina Cole - as one of my favourite authors, she continually writes original and unique books under the same genre. Gritty and at times very difficult to read as Cole touches on the deepest, darkest and worst crimes known to man. However, her immaculate style of writing and engaging cultural references keep you going to enjoy a rollercoaster of a book.

Although it took a little while longer than I'd have liked to get in to the book it was excellent! I would definitely recommend for someone who wants an easy reading thriller.
