great book all them are. this is a must read to learn where the great harry flashman rose to power and fame from. All these books are amazing to read and pact with historical fact with great story lines and events thrown in for good measure such as fighting at custurs last stand on the wrong side in a dinner suit. you will enjoy this book!

By combining historical fact with literary creation Harry Flashman, George MacDonald Fraser has created one of the most brilliant and entertaining characters in all of fiction. Flashman is a liar, cheat, coward, adulterer and complete cad but he is hugely likeable. Flashy's total lack of morals and sheer blind luck makes this an hilarious and exciting novel. A great start to an amazing series.
