Both my children have grown up with book, which is essential bedtime reading for any parent.
The characters are fantastic and fantastically drawn and the whole story is simply perfect childrens reading.
Match it with the equally fantastic "Guffalo's Child" which is of an equally high standard and that's bedtime reading sorted for some time
Essential purchase.
Here's looking to the film, if they can turn 9 pages of "Where The Wild Things Are" into an hour and a half on cinema, then the Gruffalo will be a cinch!!! Just make it 99% better than the afore mentioned Spike Jonze visually fantastic, but ultimately boring drivel!!!
