This is the only Stephen King book I have ever given up on halfway through, and I have read almost all of his books. I just couldn't get anywhere with it. I didn't like the vast italicised sections, I didn't connect, as is usually so easy, with the protagonist, I wasn't turning the pages swiftly to get to the next. It just didn't seem to get going. I am almost pained to say this, as I love Stephen King and am an avid reader of his writing. This one just didn't do anything.
