Fifty Shades of Grey | Paperback

I love this book and the other two.
It's quite erotic but what really captures me is the story of Anastacia and Chrstian. It's written in a great way with great humor, can't tell how many times I laughed out loud while reading. Just finished the last one and now I'm on the lookout for a new book to read :)

Too bad there are only 3 books. Couldn't put them down. Totally hooked!

I know this book has a substantial following but i cant for the life of me think why??? Ive read it and i thought it was a pile of dross. I wish i could get these hours of my life back? i persevered with the book 'just in case' it got better but it didnt, sadly. People need to improve their sex lives if they enjoy the titilation in this book, i'm begging you on behalf of womankind, READ A BETTER BOOK :)

i enjoyed reading this book...i could not put it down for just one second...it made me laugh at times as i did not except that such action and what would be happening would be actually written in the book :) normally all the naughty stuff would be left to the readers imagination but in this book it is all there :)...it is definitely a MUST READ book!!

This sort of book is pure escapism and not meant to be a template for your life. It is purely for entertainment purposes only and should be treated as such. Yes, it is poorly written, but for some strange reason it is impossible to put down once you start to read it - many people have said the same, and duly ordered the next two installments. Take a chill pill, laugh out loud reading it and move on. I am sure you will want to read a more challenging tome next.

I normally read fantasy and magic type of books, but all my girl mates at work started reading 50 shades and I didn't wanna be left out so I gave it a go too.
A lot of my friends really enjoyed this book, I wasn't so impressed. I found everything very repetitive and not really that exiting to be honest. To me it seems like the author is just very very horny and girls that maybe are not getting enough are the ones who are enjoying it the most (no offence intended),
However, I stuck it out, and I read the second book too, and I didn't enjoy the second one. A little less filth and degradation , some romance, and a better story and a little better written. However the repetition continues in this book again it wasn't as irritating as in the first book.
I might even read book three, I do want to know what happens in the end ;)

I managed to get to the end of this book which has been so over-hyped. I found it poorly plotted and badly written. I was left with no desire to carry on to the sequels.

This woman sure has skipped a few English lessons in her days, and it's hard to believe it's written by an adult. It sounds more like the floozy thoughts of a late teenager sometimes. If you are looking for a book with beautiful language, then move along.
However, the book IS addictive and if you can overlook the written teenage-like panting thoughts of Miss Steele (if I had a penny for every time she pants: "Oh, god, he's SO hot!"...), then what emerges is a love story that reminds you of how glorious an infatuated love affair can be. If you are offended by the idea of dom/sub or a bit of red tush then maybe read something else. To the rest of you, this book will definately tickle your fancy. Go on, have a guilty pleasure...

Really loved it but the repeated use of the same words made the reading a little poor great story line though

Nothing good to say about this. My inner feminist was mortally offended. Grey creepy and jealous, Ana just plain stupid. In my mind a Goddess should be worshiped not possessed. Can only fill impressionable minds with nonsense that an arrogant, possessive, jealous man is loving, not dangerous. As for the mucky bits, who really cares! Won't be reading the rest.
