The trend of film companies using Books and Videogames as a base to create a movie has been going strong for many years, the new format however always seems to disappoint the old fanbase, as they often pale in comparison. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, but like the others, its nothing to the book.

Unlike the 'Harry Potters' and 'LotR's,' the book/movie share as many differences as similarities, being set in different time-lines, great variations in the enemy, and Robert Neville himself having 2 quite unique personalities. So if you a fan of the movie don't be afraid to pick it up, your in for a whole new experience...

This reviewer isn't a big fan of reading, but this novel had me gripped from start to finish. Going into depth about the book would only spoil it for those who wish to read it, all that needs to be said is that this is a gripping, varied, and truly memorable book, for those who loved, liked, or even hated the movie.

the story is brilliant, 10000000billion trillion times better than the film with Will Smith

i wont spoil the ending, but you do actually find out why its called I AM LEGEND

once i started reading couldnt put it down, even when i was in the back of a Toyota RAV4 which has really uncomfortable seats, it kept me distracted.

2 hours - a fiver well spent :)

Better than the film I loved it, I picked it up and never put it down tell I had finished a really good read fast moving with a few twists chucked in to.
