At a remote US ice station in Antarctica, a team of scientists has made an amazing discovery. They have found something unbelievable buried deep below the surface, trapped inside a layer of ice 400 million years old. It's made of metal, and shouldn't be there.

I was given this book from a guy from work who recommended it to me. The book is very fast paced with something always happening. Some of the things that happen are a little unrealistic to say the least but i enjoyed them anyway. If you like the bond films this is probably a good book for you. I look forward to reading 'Area 7', the next book in the series shortly.

One of the best books I've ever read. Better than Dan Brown. Follow it up with Area 7, again an excellent read but not quite on the same level as Ice Station. Will be reading Temple next & likely to buy more Matthew Reilly books in future. Ice Station would make a fantastic film if anyone would want to do it. Mark Wahlberg to play Scarecrow would be awesome !

 unbelievable

Top 100 Electronics Reviewer

the thing about matthew reilly is that he creates such excellent characters in his books it feels like your one of the team, they are action packed (sometimes too so.) but you just want to read and read, not a good bed time read as you just can't put it down, finished this book in under a week.
Usually I read books over a month or so, a few hours here and there.

also check out the capt jack west series, just as good..

Another great book by Australian author Matthew Reilly. Once you start reading his books you will be looking for more.
