Peter Kay's gift for observing the absurdities and eccentricities of family life has earned himself a widespread appeal. This book presents his autobiography, beginning with Kay's first driving lesson, taking him back through his Bolton childhood, the jobs he held after school and leading up until the time he passed his driving test and found fame.

I had to put it down at times because I was laughing so much, Peter Kay on top form as he lets us into his early life and shares his inspirations for his TV characters. His narrative allows you to easily picture what he is telling you. Cheer yourself up and buy this book.

I thought this was the best Auto-biography I have read yet because, if you have seen him on his dvd's , you can picture him saying wat he has wrote in the book ( if I make sense! )

All over funny, and doesn't drag on and on about dull boring stories, they are all individual !

 This man is a GENUIS!!
