 A future grumpy old man

Top 100 Books Reviewer

I must admit that my political leanings are somewhere to the left of Jezza's, but I find that some of his columns, like those of the grumpy old men series, say things that everyone knows to be true but don't like to admit.

The one thing that did strike me with this book was its ability to make me laugh with almost every single column/chapter. I know from watching Top Gear that Clarkson is a very funny man and has an analogy for every single thing he talks about. This manages to come across in his writing as well.

If you want a bit of light-hearted humour then this is your man and this is the book.

 Get over it!

I am a big fan of on-screen JK, i think he's very funny on Top Gear and knows a great deal.

The book however, is endless complaints about modern society and then a bit about planes and the war.

It's written in a diary format from about 3 years ago.

If you're under 25, trust me you probably wont like this book.

This is his first book i bought and i love it. His view on life is sometimes extream but always brilliantly funny. it had me laughing out loud on various occasions. would recommend to anyone.

Great book makes you laugh out loud much to the surprise of any one else in the room.

This is some of the columns that he has written for a national newspaper and not as one of the reviewers states written in "diary format."
