for a carnivor????maybe not a good book, full of graet fish recipe's and soups but thats about it, will join the shelf with the others, was hoping for more recipe's that I would find in my local take away, but only found one or two, good picturesd though.
Excelent for amateurs or lazy sods like me...

This book is fantastic, the quality of food that you can conjure up in no time at all is truly fantastic.
the only problem, no one has these sort of ingredients in their cupboards (mines usually got baked beans and tinned toms, not much else).
But after trying a couple of the dishes out, they truly are amazing.
Trust me, i'm no chef, but these meals/desserts are soo easy to make (albeit a bit messy as well), that anyone can do them.
Excellent Book!

Top 100 Books Reviewer
Excellent book which accompanies the series - F word - Brilliant quick recipies although not all healthy/low fat. Gordon has produced another brilliant book with more mouthwatering recipies.
Excellent, quick easy recipes that you can actually make.

This is the first recipe book that I have actually made more than one or two dishes from. It is nice to be able to pick anything in the knowledge that it isn;t going to take hours to prepare. I didn't give this 5 stars because although the recipes themselves are quick the tidying up afterwards isn't!
this book has given me a great insight into cooking high quality meals in a short time. the recipies although not the healthiest allow you to cook great tasting food in short spaces of time, great book if you live a busy lifestyle such as a student or full time job. fantastic help and i would fully recommend it to all.
This is a great follow up to his Sunday Lunch title. Wide variety of recipes that should keep everyone who enjoys a bit of cooking happy. Certainly not the healthiest cook book in the world, but for those of us who want to spend no more time making food than we will spend eating it then this is perfect.
