After knowing about The Darkness for a couple of years i was intrigued by the vidoe game and bought it when it was released.
The game rocks and this collection is the two storylines that inspired it.
As always the game doesn't follow the comics exactlly. Think the difference between the Harry Potter books and the movies.
This collection introduces Jackie Estacado and the Darkness and a couple of other main players.
The collection is made up of two stories pretty much the first run of the first series and the first run of the second series. Violence and language may not be suitable for all but a great read and i am now getting series 3 from my local comic shop
great comic

Comic fan? liked the game? then you'll love this. Its two comic storys both that inspired the game, one is even told by the legend Garth Ennis (punisher, preacher) it has a really strong and rich storyline and you cant help but read on. Well worth the money. If you like comics then i would recommen.d
