Well written, a thoroughly satisfying read that will leave you thinking afterwards. Not just another traumatic childhood tale, this one really stands out among the top three out there at the moment. Amazing writer. Her best book to date.

Great book that has been written brilliantly. I couldn't put it down.Worth noting that it is quite harsh and graphic in places, very upsetting. Would strongly recommend reading.

This is the best book I have read for age's, It normally takes me a week or so to read a book but I read this in a day. Its beautifully written and heartbreakingly painful at the same time. I have lent this to 3 friends who have all read it at the speed of light. Cathy deserves an award.

  Amazing!

My family are in the process of fostering and I found this book and thought it would give us abit more insight to what we're going into.
I couldn't put this book down and both me and my mum had tears in our eyes by the end of this book.
Amazing!
