I bought this book on Wednesday and started reading it on Thursday, by the end of the day I had finished reading it, I just couldn't put it down, I needed to know what was going to happy. This book is very hard to read in some parts as the graphic detail of the suffering this little girl went through is sickening, when you remember that it is based on a true story that makes it even harded. Any one who reads this will feel some sort of emotion, whether it be hatred, sadness, anger, happiness etc. This book touched my heart and I was very moved by it the whole way through. Definately worth reading, hope she gets there in the end.

Absolutely fantastic read. Once started very hard to put down. Written with empathy and compassion from a woman with amazing qualities.

I have just starting reading this book and i am hooked. This is an amazing story, it is almost like a diary from the foster carer about a little girl in her care. I recommend this to anyone. It is a very sad story but enlightening.

  Not another 1 ?

Dont worry this book is not just another tale of a harsh childhood, this is the gripping story of a child so disturbed by abuse that a tear is never far away from the readers eye. Written by a a truly amazing, kind and patient woman, this book tells the story from a foster carers view. Heart breaking and thought provoking, have the tissues at the ready!
