Top 10 Books Reviewer

I bought this book after watching a the TV programme, as I was hooked. I HATE cooking(it takes too long after a day at work) but love home produced food, as it's so much better for you. The book contains loads of quick, easy, inexpensive and exciting meals, desserts and drinks. I'm off to re-stock up the larder. This woman wrote the book for me, and those like me.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars fantastic easy recipies

If like me you work weird hours this book is fantastic at "fast food" without it tasting like a mcdonalds.the recipies are easy to follow -some of them have unusual ingredients in and I wouldnt usually have them in my cupboard but with a little planning it they soom can be that is the only reason I give it 4 stars not 5

I have a few cookery books that every now and again I dig through and think about knocking up something special. But that is what I find them to be, handy for that something special. But what if I want to try something different but don't have the time to put lots of effort into?

Look no further because Nigella has the answer. This is a book of simple but fast recipes that DO NOT skimp on quality or flavour. There is a really nice balance in this book between starters/main meals, deserts and treats for the kids. My favourite so far is the coq au Reisling. The smell alone is enough to make you fall in love with this book.

Warning: There is also a couple of ideas for chocolate bars to have on standby. Just don't be surpised if you find the tin empty when you fancy one! Oh well, time to make another batch ...

My husband bought me this book for Christmas. Making Pizza's out of Nan Breads is fab ! The Chocolate Mousse made in a hurry with Marshmellows is great too especially if you have people arrive unexpectedly and stay for dinner. I like the way Nigella can just throw things together in a pan or roasting dish and it tastes great. Thanks Nigella

Packed full of recipies that will satisfy the entire family. You also get a peek inside Nigella's fridge! Worth buying for anyone interested in food, or Nigella herself. My only critique is that the recipies are printed rather small, so older people may have trouble reading. Other than that, an excellent purchase.

This book has completely changed the way we eat!!! I received it as a Christmas present and have not looked back. I used to be the person who just uses jars of sauces to make meals but now i make recipes from the book on a very regular basis i.e at least 5 a week. Buy it-it's ace!

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Marvellous Book - practical and luscious food

Don't harbour any doubts about buying this book, I can't imagine anyone disliking it. I have, in just two weeks, already made 16 of the recipes, to general applause at home.

Every recipe has worked out beautifully and been quick to make. This book is a godsend for people who have very little time but still love to eat well and enjoy the creative process of presenting a different meal every night, and exciting lunchboxes every day.

Using this book, I also managed to get a three course dinner on the table for guests on a Friday, after work, in less than 2 hours - and that includes driving to the supermarket to do the shopping! (Try the red prawn curry, it is a triumph).

Love this book.
