I bought this book for my fiance and he read it on xmas day and then I read it on boxing day. It is brilliant, full of 'Geneisms' which are of course very witty, hilarious and politically incorrect. A must have for any Life On Mars fan.

After ordering this book I thought I'd made a mistake buying what was probably going to be a lousy cash-in on the back of one of the best drama shows in years.

But it just isn't it is not just funny its enough to make you laugh out loud so don't be like me and take it on the train. You have been warned

I've bought the signed copy of this for my chap for Xmas and he will LOVE it!
Not for me, but ideal for men of a certain age ie. in the middle.
For those who loved The Sweeney and miss the 70's...a good bit of fun.
Remind them it's not factual though!!

  Unpolitically correct........YES!

This is a must for fans of Life On Mars, the nostalgic father or uncle and the rest with a sense of humour.
This book gives you the policing perspective circa 1973 from that fine gentleman DCI Gene Hunt, played by philip glenister.
Politically incorrect, sexist and brilliantly funny.
A great purchase, a great gift all in all great book.
