Good, but lacking humour and usual charm.

This is undoubtedly a good book-well written, engaging and at times extremely funny. However, Moist isn't quite as engaging as before, and the storyline does somewhat plod as there is never any real sense of urgency. Yes, it's difficult to get excited about banking, but considering how fantastic Going Postal was, I rather expected this to be considerably better. Worth a read if you're alaready a Pratchett fan, but not if it's our first Pratchett book-try Going Postal instead.
EXCELLENT!!
