Ok the book what can i say, the way the book is done paints a picture of the life of the character excellently.
As i read i felt for the character and what was left of the world he lived in.
Now the movie was a joke. I do'nt thing the director read the book correctly just skimmed through it, and the ending Jesus, what was he on. "Mr Director read the book again, hint last chapter." The movie will to be done again, it will happen in time wait and see.
if only the film were as good

I read the book after seeing the film, the book deals more with the increasing feelings of isolation than the movie but both stand up in their own right. I was impressed with the quality of the narrative. Matheson reels you in and keeps you there until the end (I read it in one sitting!)
A definite "must read" - I am off to find some more Matheson novels!
