Id seen the film & decided to start on the books to know what happens next. Id heard someone say that New Moon wasn't good but I think you learn so much about the characters & its a brilliant book, I read it in 3 days! Quite easy reading. Definately get it if you want to know the next part of the story!

WARNING!! there may be a small chance that you will cry while reading this one. Without giving too much away I have to say its a fantastic book, but it has some heart breaking moments in it.
New moon is really great and you get to know and like Jacob (which after eclipse the next/3rd book you most likely wont again so enjoy the feeling) But buy the whole Twilight saga you wont be disapointed!

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars She writes so so well!

Top 10 Books Reviewer

Having read twilight, this is a very good follow up.. Being male I'm not exactly the target auidence. This is probably why Meyer is so good, she has a superb way of writing that engages you and a structure that works very well.

Having enjoyed the book, I have now odered the next one and have become addicted to this series, and would really recommend reading this book if you enjoyed Twilight.

I loved this book too.. Although I really missed Edward.. Everytime I turn each page, I will always wish that Edward will come back soon.. It's like I'm feeling Bella's pain while reading this book.. Then I got to know more about Jacob and his friends.. I love the ending too.. this is a must buy book! well I think all the books of the Saga is a must buy.. I ordered both Eclipse and Breaking dawn last friday and I can't wait to read both of them.. I wonder what the real ending will be.. and I still can wait for the upcoming Twilight movie!!..

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Brilliant follow up to Twlight...

Bella has really got to be the most unlucky character ive ever read about! The only downside to this book is Edwards prolonged absense, cant wait to read the next one though.

As an adult reading a teenage book, i was astounded how eloquently Meyer describes an all consuming love, and the heartbreak it can bring along with it. I found myself rooting for Bella and Edward and couldnt put the book down until they were reunited (under extreme circumstances!). You sympathise for Bella and how she feels torn between her love of Edward and loyalty to Jacob, her best friend. How do you choose when your best friend and love of your life are mortal enemies? Cant wait for Eclipse to arrive!

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars I want more!

After reading the first book of the "Twilight" saga I have high hopes for the second book to exceed the success of the first one but surely I felt let down.

The beginning of the book is at it's most exciting and compelling but as it went on the middle part started to drag and remembering asking myself whether it was still well worth the effort to finish it.

Compared to twilight this book is no match, with plots that needs mending, main characters needs rebuffing. Edward decided to leave Bella after her disastrous 18th birthday celebration at the Cullen's house. She became depressed to the point of being catatonic and still continues to be a danger magnet. Re-introduce into the picture is Jacob Black, the boy that Bella met at La Push during a beach party.

A book of hope, love, forgiveness and friendship all in all still a good book to read.
