The Twilight Saga: New Moon - Book 2 | Paperback

If you have read Twlight you cannot resist the temptation and continue to this book and it certainly doesn't disappoint.

If you enjoyed reading twilight, then go ahead and read this one, I suppose you've got nothing more to lose, as for those of you thinking about reading the series, I seriously advise against it.

This review would have had more stars based solely on the fact that Edward goes awol for most of the book, however, all that's left behind after he leaves is an even more depressed Bella (if you can imagine such a thing) and her agonizing pain over him not being there to climb through her window and sniff her pillow. This pain makes up pretty much the rest of the book with the occasional life-threatening activities Bella takes on in order to hear Edwards voice (well done do all of those that already guessed she was out of her mind) These activities include cliff diving and having motorbike accidents. If you are starting to think that this perhaps adds depth to the shallow character that is Bella Swan then I urge you to finish this review. Bella Swan remains as dull as ever.

The only praise this book deserves is for the character of Jacob Black who is quite possibly the only person in the world (real or fictional) who can tolerate Bella's obsessive whining.

Following the theme of twilight, new moon was badly written, badly structured and entirely empty of any decent development. I implore you, if you've bought this book or even been given it as a gift, bin it or regift it, cut your losses and move onto something that won't suck the life out of you.

great great read! even if you know the story line or not! this book is a must read! it does the storyline justice and its a hard one to put down just like the others! id reccomend the books even if you dont like the movie.

Wow! I already heard the storyline of the book before I read it, and I honestly thought I would hate the absence of one of my favourite characters, but I loved it more than I thought! An essential read if you've read Twilight and seen the film and want more!

This book is truly amazing. Despite the fact that I am pro Edward, and hate Jacob with a passion, I could not stop reading. It is a shame that there is a lot less Edward and Alice in this, but it's all within reason. New Moon progresses the series in a very interesting way by fully introducing Jacob for what he is.

The fact that Edward is missing makes this book even more a page turner than the first book, simply because you want him back so badly that you'll race through the book.

I give Stephenie much respect for this book.

loving this romance between bella and edward...well written once again equally as good as twilight, edward takes a back seat in this as this is jacobs story,after the birthday party edward decides he's going to leave bella to try and protect and keep her safe, bella is devastated her heart is well and truelly broken, jacob helps her mend her heart only bella only ever see's jacob as a friend...i could feel bella's pain in this...it's all very good!!!!!

I found it hard getting into the twilight series at first as I had already seen twilight movie but once i was into the book i couldn't put it down. Even more so I was sucked into New Moon - a great book with enough drama / romance/ action for anyones taste! Was a great read and can't wait to move onto the next one in the series!
