Grubbs Grady treads new ground in this, the eighth dramatic title in the Demonata. But beware - Trespassers will be eaten! "We spot the werewolves as we skim the treetops. Mutated, vicious, hairy monstrosities, all fangs, claws and muscles. The beast within me tries to force its way to the surface, howling silently at its warped brethren. I've never rid myself of the wolf!" As the mysterious Shadow builds an army of demons, Grubbs and his team search desperately for answers. But when they follow up a new lead, it takes them to an old, unexpected foe - the Lambs. The curse of the Gradys has returned with a vengeance. Werewolves are on the loose. And they're hungry!

For the most part this book was brilliant, it had everything i have come to expect from darren shan, violence, war, good battling evil and unexpected twists.
However I did find that sections of the book where not in conjunction with previouse books. For example the charecter of Grubbs. In previose books especially slawter Grubbs has appeared to be brave and heroic batteling demons, in this book however he has turned in to nothing short of a crying child when in the demond universe but then at the end of the book he suddenly turns back in to a brave demond hunter. I found this rather annoying at how someone can be a crying coward one minuet and the next a brave hunter. I also found that alot of the book lacked substance and was i am afraid very predictable in parts.
