Number One bestselling author Harlan Coben has become an unstoppable force in crime fiction. He is already a massive SUNDAY TIMES bestseller and this will take him even further. Tia and Mike Baye never imagined they'd become the type of overprotective parents who spy on their kids. But their sixteen-year-old son Adam has been unusually distant lately, and after the suicide of his classmate Spencer Hill - the latest in a string of issues at school - they can't help but worry. They install a sophisticated spy program on Adam's computer, and within days they are jolted by a message from an unknown correspondent addressed to their son: "Just stay quiet and all safe." Meanwhile, browsing through an online memorial for Spencer, Betsy Hill is struck by a photo that appears to have been taken on the night of her son's death and he wasn't alone. She thinks it is Adam Baye standing just outside the camera's range, but when Adam goes missing, it soon becomes clear that something deep and sinister has infected their community. For Tia and Mike Baye, the question they must answer is this: When it comes to your kids, is it possible to know too much?

 Great Read

In my opinion Harlan Coben is one of the best thriller writers around at the moment. He is best known for his Myron Bolitair series of novels, but recently he has focused on more stand alone novels.
With most authors, you usually enjoy most of their novels, but are a bit disappointed with one or two of them.
This author is different - I have thouroughly enjoyed every of of his books.
This story has quite a simple premise - 'How much freedom should you give to your children?'
Two parents decide to put a tag in their eldest child's computer after he starts displaying varying mood swings after a school friends suicide. - To tell you more would spoil the story!
You get addicted to the story straight away and will find it difficult to put down.
Another great feature of his stories is that various characters from his previous novels are given supporting roles in other books.
Although I miss his Myron Bolitair stories, this is a great read that you will probably finish in record time.
The only reason that I haven't given this book 5 stars is that I cannot wait for the next Myron novel!!
Give this author a go - I don't think you will be disappointed.
