its a brilliant shocking story that will keep you reading it. its a shocking story but very interesting and touching
One of the better true life books out there at the moment. The story follows Celine from early childhood, when she was given up by her mother at five months, to the present day. Its amazing how much this woman has gone through, brutal abuse at the hands of her foster mother who 'sold' her to older men, the journey to get the career she wants, being in a loveless marriage, finding her family, being rejected by her family, losing her youngest son to a brain tumour aged only six. It will probably make you cry, (I did), but will also leave you inspired and uplifted. If ordinary people can go through this and still have the strength and courage to write about it and share their story... Well, it just makes you admire her. The story sucks you right in straight away and its hard to put down. A real page turner.
loved the book, yet i was disappointed at the end since i thought that she'd get the answers she wanted but she never did and never will. an incredibly strong person !!
