Two small towns in Colorado: Hope and Despair. Between them, nothing but twelve miles of empty road. Jack Reacher can't find a ride, so he walks. All he wants is a cup of coffee. What he gets are four redneck deputies who want to run him out of town. Mistake. They're picking on the wrong guy. Jack Reacher is a big man, and he's in shape. No job, no address, no baggage. Nothing, except bloody-minded curiosity. What is the secret the locals seem so keen to hide? A hard man is good to find. Ex-military cop Reacher is today's most addictive hero. Now he pulls on a tiny loose thread, to unravel conspiracies that expose the most shocking truths. Because, after all, Jack Reacher has nothing to lose.

Ok not his best effort but still worth a read especially if you're a Jack Reacher fan. The plot was a little thin in places and dare I say a little predictable but as a easy paced read it is ok.
Reacher is again up to his anti-hero best avenging helpless town folk from an evil overlord bent on maxium profit at the expense of innocent people.
I think part of the attraction of these novels is that we all slightly want the freedom that Reacher has, i.e. no responsibilties and the freedom to come and go when he pleases.
Is worth buying? Yes I think so and as the title suggests you've nothing to lose.
It's okay

I am an avid fan of Lee Childs work, normally.
I had this book on order since January and was literally ticking the days off until it arrived in mid March - All his previous books I have read in 1 sitting, staying up until the small hours to finish it. We are now mid April and I still havent got through the first 120 pages.
Sadly the plot is thin, Jack Reacher is coming across as a man thats past his prime, and the general context is 'padded out', its quite monotonous and hard work to read. I'm not sure I will even read it to the end.
Very dissapointed indeed
