John boyne is a very talented writer and has told the story of bruno very well. I couldn't stop myself from reading it because it drags you in and doesn't let you go until you finish the book! Buy it now!!

A good read. Told from the boys point of view which is sweet, takes a while to get started and found it rather short. Wasn't keen on the ending, thought he could have gone into more detail.

  Not bad, but not great

I brought this book after reading none stop good reviews about it. Have to say i was a bit disappointed. Its very short and even then takes along time to get going. The end is good although it was quite predictable. Overall maybe worth a read but i would recommend you read "Wolf of the plains" by Conn Iggulden instead, now thats a great book!

Heard this book was good so wanted to find out for myself. Extremely touching tale with an ending that I didn't see coming. Excellent "couldnt put down" read and would definately recommend to people.

  One definitely to read

Outstanding, moving book. Every page read, leaves you wanting to know more. The whole book fills you with emotion and stays with you. Once i started this book i just couldn't put it down. This book truley is a book about "innocence in a world of ignorance"

The ending will have you gasping at the last page, an amazing book, told in the innocent voice of a child. This book should be part of the secondary school reading for history!
