Don't listen to any ratings under 5 stars.
The front cover isn't "cheap thin cardboard", it's thick enough. Unless you're a bit clumsy and you tear it.
This guide has everything. All the areas, all the items you pick up from the screens, how to get yuffie, how to get vincent, how to get aeriths' 4th limit break, how to get vincents' ultimate weapon along with everyone's ultimate weapons. It also gives minor info like "if you go here on disc 2 you find out about vincent's past, how he got locked in a coffin etc." you know why it has all this stuff? It consulted square about it. It does have info about emerald & ruby weapons, it does have info about combining materia and exclusive materia. As far as i know it doesn't leave anything out. It's perfect. It's a 'must have'.
THE most awesome game guide ever to be written.....

I played Final Fantasy VII to death. To death I say, all because of this guide. I have never seen another guide of it's ilk again since. The other Final Fantasy guides simply do not match up to it. It is clear, precise, and lets you know what to do and when and what to expect. It has screenshots from the game as well which are really helpful...If you use this guide, you will not miss a single thing from this game, and you don't want to miss a thing from this game. Final Fantasy VII is (or should be) the benchmark for all games of this genre. I remember waiting to get to the end of the first disc....and waiting.....and waiting...etc. The game is huge. Play it. Use this guide. Your life will be more fulfilled. What an experience.
