Do not be fooled by the title of this book, the content is utter drivel. Cornwell proves nothing other than that she has a massive and misguided ego. Her 'facts' about the ripper murders are frequently wrong and about Walter Sickert, utterly subjective. Furthermore the book is incorrect in even the most basic details about 19th Century London. Do not waste you time or money on this rubbish and get a decent, well-researched and above all well written account of the murders or separately about Walter Sickert if you are interested.
