Comment: This book is in good or better condition. It has no tears to the pages and no pages will be missing from the book. The spine of the book is still in great condition and the front cover is generally unmarked. It has signs of previous use but overall is in really nice, tight condition. Shipping is normally same day from our UK warehouse. We offer a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

I borrowed this book from my 10 year old daughter who said it was worth reading as it was Blue Peter's book of the year. I wasn't sure what to expect, but very quickly felt involved in Private Peaceful's story of life around WW1. Wonderfully written and emotionally charged. Have the tissues handy for the last chapter, I sobbed and sobbed!

This book is fantastic! It opens the modern mind to how and what was happening in the First World War.

Tommo is the brother of Charlie, here we are hearing abouts events that have happened to him in his childhood right up to the very last second.

I am an English teacher and I teach this book to 11 yr olds and they are totally amazed at what really happened to some of our young brave men.

I highly reconmend this book if you are into history, reading, empathy for others.

A must read for everyone
