I cannot recall the number of times I read this book as a child. I was fascinated by Robinson's ideas for survival and thought I was learning valuable survival skills I could use if I were to be stranded on an island.
I now recommend the book to every child I know, not only to encourage them to read but also to learn a few tricks.
