This book was an absolute joy, definately the funniest book I have read for years. I heard people talk about this "diary" when at school but only recently decided to read it. In all books I have read, there are few characters who would top the inimitable Adrian Mole. A fantastic read, so if you're feeling blue, need a pick me up or you just enjoy a good hoot - then look no further than this. I may be 15 years behind most in discovering this book, but it was worth the wait.

I started reading this particular book after an old teacher at school read a bit of the book to us. I was simply captivated from the start and bought the book as soon as i could. Never before had a book had me totally hooked and laughing at the daily life of a teenager (adrian). For a child who never really liked to read this was a godsend and i soon found myself asking for the new edition each christmas. I've read all the other adrian mole books to follow and have not been dissappointed once. It is suitable for all ages, go ahead and buy it!
