A great story of friendship, bravery and childish adventures. Is uplifting reading of a family taking the moral high ground at many costs. I loved this and have read it a few times.

Read this to see what all the fuss was about, and now I know!!! Loved how the story was told through the eyes of Scout who was only 6. Now my favourite book!

What a classic book. If anyone has to read just one book in their life time, this is the one! It deals with so many issues in one simple story. Fantastic!

It takes quite an effort for a book to grasp my attention. However this book did.

I remember being given it at school 5 odd years ago as part of the course. I instantly fell in love with Scout, Dill and Jem due to the childish antics. I took the book home with me and feverishly read on looking to immerse myself in the lives of the Finches.

This of course lead to the famous trial scenes. I encountered a loss of innocence as I discovered the cruelty and injustice men can place on each other. As a lowly teenager, the book single-handedly changed my outlook on life and people.

I cannot thank it enough.

"Shoot all the bluejays you want, if you can hit em, but remember it's a sin to kill a mockingbird."

I read this book at school and found it captivating. you can read it and look into all the deep things, such as the rape case etc, but you can also purely enjoy the children's antics.
Whatever way you read it, it's a wonderful story and so much better than I've seen any movie try and copy. Definitley worth the read.

This continues to be one of the very best books I have read. I read it first when I was 15 and come back to it time and time again.
