  Very entertaining and moving biography

This is recommended for those who like rocknroll, not just fans of Lemmy, but also for those who want to read a lot of hilarious stories from the guy who founded Motorhead in the 60s, 70s... Really really entertaining. And a lot of laughing with some stories.

  The Rockin' Vicar himself

Lemmy - is there a more iconic rock n' roller around? - I'd say not.

It has been 5 years since this little beauty appeared and I am sure that Lemmy has more up-to-date adventures to document in print. However, this one is a must have. Lemmy covers his childhood, his bands (Sam Gopals Dream, Rockin' Vicars, Hawkwind and the might motorhead), his women (and there are several) and his frequent opinions on people and politics/life. Great insight into the great man - you can almost hear his gravel like voice telling the story.

He may reside in America these days, but the living legend lives on back home.

A good read indeed.

  It's the legend himself, Lemmy!

This is an absolute must read for any fan of Motorhead, rock 'n' roll or Metal!

It's written in such a way as if Lemmy himself is speaking to you directly. It involves some great stories and quotes about the Motorhead main Man. It's entertainingly funny and brilliant all the way through. It's just a very enjoyable book to read, partly because he's such a character.

It covers his childhood growing up in North Wales, how he got interested in the ol' drugs, sex and rock 'n' roll, his days in Hawkwind and how Motorhead came to be complete with his own little stories and anecdotes.

An awesome read!
