I first read this book 16years ago! It changed who i was, I became a stronger and more assertive me, but still keeping my gentleness. I have now gone back to my bookshelf to find it again, as i go through a difficult time to remind myself that i am strong, and that what i am doing is the right thing for me, this book helps me to think straight - it is very american,BUT, essentially the things Ms Dickson writes about, are common things amongst us women, and i would urge anyone to read it, I'm sure you will come out stronger from it and more understanding of yourself and of others. I now have to order another one as my first one is falling apart!
Very good book to help with your self confidence. It helps you to say no without feeling guilty.
